Venetia wanted a kitchen garden that welcomed you and had its own sense of self. An old cable drum in a vibrant red to match the front door stands in the centre with an olive tree standing tall atop.

Large L-shaped raised beds surround this central feature filled with vegetables, flowers and herbs all enjoying each other’s company and creating a feeling of abundance and possibility.

Wooden slatted gabion seats provide a resting place to pause and reflect or maybe take a break with a cup of tea before rolling up our sleeves and getting back into it.

This is one of those spaces that truly highlights Venetia’s vision for Terrara - style and substance beautifully combined.
