This vessel is inspired by the curves of a partially open clam shell and colours of a Summer sunset.
It has been made using a clay containing melting minerals that develop a seductive surface with dark spots of different sizes and shades that stand out on an ivory-white surface.
The interior of the vessel has been glazed in Tangerine and the dark spots of the clay can be seen as speckling through the glaze.
The exterior is painted with Tangerine and Black glazes. A clear gloss glaze has been applied over the exterior allowing the natural clay to bring a grounding effect to the vessel.
